  • Terminal 3: Curbside, Upper/Departures Level. Ashtrays; no benches/shelter. Exit security; re-entry 15-30 min.
  • Terminal 5: Curbside, Upper/Departures Level. Ashtrays; no benches/shelter. Exit security; re-entry 15-30 min.
  • Terminal 6: Curbside, Upper/Departures Level. Ashtrays; no benches/shelter. Exit security; re-entry 15-25 min.
  • Terminal 7: Curbside, Lower/Arrivals Level, near United baggage claim. Ashtrays; possible benches; no shelter. Exit security; re-entry 15-30 min.
  • Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT):
    • Near Gate 130, airside patio past food court. Ashtrays; no benches/shelter; tarmac views. No security exit if in Terminals 4-8; 15-20 min walk.
    • Mezzanine Level, near Gates 131/151. Ashtrays; no benches/shelter. Airside access.
  • Terminals 4 & 8: No dedicated areas; use TBIT patio (airside) or curbside (exit security, 15-30 min re-entry).
Access Notes: Terminals 4-8 and TBIT are connected airside; use TBIT patio without exiting security. Terminals 1-3 require security exit. Re-entry takes 10-30 min; TSA PreCheck/CLEAR helps.
